Welcome To Pew Pew Guru
I was really struggling like most Americans with coming to grips with our new reality.
The isolation, the fear, the being cut off from everything familiar. Like most, I missed the interaction with coworkers, our jokes and daily take on current events.
I missed errands, lunch and dinners out. I worried about family, friends and loved ones in other parts of the country.
My saving grace.
The constant stream of memes on Facebook and social media and binge-watching of god-forsaken cable programming with Tigers and Carole’s and Kings, as hard as it was –it made me laugh.
The surprising thing I discovered, the more I laughed the better I felt!
The next thing I knew I was sending and posting funny memes. Then out of nowhere, I bought a funny t-shirt. And then another. And when I ran out of funny t-shirts to buy, I started to sketch out my own.
I went to bed one night and woke up the next morning designing t-shirts. And that ladies and gentlemen is how I got in the T-shirt business.
Think of my t-shirts as my therapy.
